Review by hotel critic
As a travel writer specializing in family-friendly escapes, the Royal House proved to be a noteworthy choice for our recent family vacation. Upon arrival, we appreciated their efficient check-in, where every member, including our little ones, was welcomed warmly and asked to present government-issued photo ID.Our room, while compact, offered a stunning view of the Colosseum-an inspiring sight for the children each morning. The nearby restaurant, although slightly pricey, was convenient for our family dinners. We found it ideal to grab a quick breakfast before setting off to explore Rome's history together. A highlight was the staff's willingness to assist, evident when they kindly stored our bags while we ventured out to witness the sites. The location allowed for easy access to nearby attractions, which were mostly within walking distance. Despite a bit of nighttime noise from surrounding festivities, the children adapted quickly, and the vibrant energy added to our overall experience. In sum, I recommend the Royal House for families seeking a blend of comfort and immersion in the heart of Rome. It made our journey memorable without being overwhelming.
